A Furious Statement

In Kathrine Nedrejord’s latest novel Forbryter og straff (Criminal and Punishment) described as a raging monologue, we meet an author who is waiting for the upcoming trial of her rapist.  Who is this man? Why did he do it? She becomes obsessed with him and with writing about him. She tries to find out who he is, and what he was thinking when he attacked her. And what about the punishment that has he has inflicted on her – that she now has to live with – the trauma, the terror and the rage?

Nedrejord will be in conversation with Teresa Grøtan.
