Furious lecture: Language

Is queer language liberation or provocation? In this lecture linguistic expert Kristin Fridtun will talk about the language of queers, queer language, letter confusion and (alleged) furious activists and anti-activists. Does a special language exist among queer people that non-queer people don't understand? Why are some people provoked by non-gendered pronouns like ‘s/he’ or ‘they’? Fridtun thinks queer language exists and has a lot going for it, and will explain why.
