Back to the future
Join an apocalyptic and at times absurd voyage to the natural world of the future.
American Elizabeth Kolbert is the journalist who made the term “the sixth extinction” widely known – the fact that we are responsible for the biggest mass dying on Earth since an asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs 66 million years ago.
The Pulitzer-prize winner has now written Under a White Sky, where she explains how humans – with the aid of technology – are trying to keep nature alive, or to reconstruct it. Kolbert meets physicist, climate researcher and author Bjørn Samset for a conversation on humans, nature and the future. She will participate virtually and in real time from the USA.
The conversation will be in English.
