Adrian Pope

Iain MacGregor (b 1967, UK) is an author and historian and has been an editor of historical fiction for nearly thirty years.

He has been fascinated with the Baltic countries and the Soviet Union since he travelled there in the early eighties as a student and his books have primarily been based on World War Two on the Eastern Front.

He has also written for the Spectator, the Guardian and BBC History Magazine. His latest book The Lighthouse of Stalingrad: The Hidden Truth at the Centre of WWII’s Greatest Battle, illuminates the battle that shaped the outcome of World War Two, with important first-hand accounts from archives in both Russia and Germany.
