Clemens Saers

Clemens Saers (b 1951, Netherlands) is a retired teacher. His family moved from the Netherlands to Sweden when he was six years old. After his studies, he moved in 1973 to Norway, where he worked as a teacher until his retirement in 2019. In 2021, his book Clemens Saers – lærer på liv og død was published. He collaborated with the journalist Knut Lindh to tell the story of his daily experience as a teacher for fifty years, including a particu­larly violent incident that changed his life in 2014.
