Sustainable literature production

LitFestBergen has initiated a collaboration with the Text Alliance and Nordic House in the Faroes, with sustainability and the green transition in cultural production as the theme. We wish to look at the transition from physical festivals and literary events to the digital distribution of literature and literary conversation.

In this first meeting, Anne Karin Sæther, Pedro Carmona-Alvarez and Henning Bergsvåg will be discussing the effects of this digital shift on authors’ artistic process and development.

The conversation will also mark the launch of a survey about sustainability and digital literary events, in collaboration with Western Norway Research Institute.
