Juan Ignacio Pisano

Juan Ignacio Pisano (b 1981, Argentina) studied at Letters in Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, and specialised in Argentine and Latin American Literature. He is getting a PhD under a scholarship from Conicet. He has published articles in specialised journals and books, and teaches in secondary schools and universities. He is part of the interdisciplinary research team about Heavy Metal in Argentina (GIIHMA). With them he has published two books Se nos ve de negro vestido (2016) and Parricidas (2018).

El último Falcon sobre la tierra is his first novel, which earned him the Fundación Medifé- Filba Prize to the best novel of the year 2019.
