Kjersti Wold

Kjersti Wold (b 1962, Norway) is an author and academic known for her courses in creative writing.

After studying at Aarhus University, she made her literary debut in 1988 with Sarahs stemme and has gone on to publish children’s literature, short stories, play manuscripts and textbooks. She won Gyldendal’s children’s novels competition in 2011.

Wold’s Nettopp Jensen series of children’s books has been translated into German and other languages. Together with her husband, she runs the Noesis centre for creativity and communication in Holmestrand. Her last publication is Skriv ditt liv (2015).
