Johan Harstad is an award-winning author who has been translated into several languages and who has worked closely with a number of his translators, some of them for over 20 years. What is it like to see your own text in a language other than your mother tongue? And how has his literature been received in Norway and abroad, in different cultures? Agnes Banach is a translator who translates from Polish to Norwegian and has won several awards for her work. What do they see as particularly important in translation, and what does it mean for Polish literature to be published in other countries?

Meet them in conversation with translator and publisher Julia Wiedlocha.

In collaboration with the Norwegian Translators' Association.

The conversation is in Norwegian.
