Dear Mum and Dad

Song til mor (Song to Mum) is Margreth Olin's fiction debut. The book begins where the film "Fedrelandet", Olin's tribute to nature in Oldedalen, ends, when her mother suddenly dies three days after the film premiere. In the novel, Olin describes how she always looked to her parents for advice when life got tough, about her mother who always sang and perhaps should have been an artist herself, but who worked all her life at the local supermarked. 

Meet Margreth Olin in conversation with journalist and author Marte Spurkland about the strong bond between mother and daughter, the great sorrow of losing parents and the love of nature.
