Tarjei Skirbekk (b 1971, Norway) is a historian of ideas and an author with extensive experience in Norwegian and European politics.
His experience includes being political advisor for the Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre up until the election in 2011, advisor for the Swedish Social Democratic Party’s election analysis group in 2014 and 2015, and the advisor for the previous and the current CEO of Equinor.
In 2015, he published the book Hvordan vinne valg. Moderne politisk kommunikasjon, and in 2021, De moderate folkepartienes fall i Europa.
