Pauli Tapio

Pauli Tapio (b 1986, Finland) is a poet. He is currently a doctoral research fellow in the Doctoral Programme of Philosophy, Arts and Society at the University of Helsinki. His first collection of poetry, Varpuset ja aika (Sparrows and Time) earned him the top Finnish debutant prize from the newspaper Helsingin Sanomat and the following year the UNESCO Bridges of Struga international poetry award. In 2021 his poetry collection Tyhjä, suuri ja öinen was published.
