Michelle A. Tisdel

Michelle A. Tisdel (b 1971, USA) is a researcher and works as a research librarian at the National Library of Norway in Oslo.

Tisdel has a doctorate in Social Anthropology from Harvard University and has done fieldwork in Cuba. Her primary focus as a researcher has been migration and cultural heritage. In 2020 she established Lift Every Voice – LEV, a documentation project about anti-racism and civil rights in Norway.
