Lola Shoneyin (b 1974, Nigeria) is an author and the director for Aké Arts and Book Festival.
She has published novels, novellas, poetry collections, children’s’ books and has been a regular writer for newspapers like The Guardian and The Scotsman. Her first novel The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives, has been translated into seven languages. Shoneyin is also the director at Ouida Books in Lagos.
