Dylan Jones (b 1960, UK) is a former editor of GQ magazine and a non-fiction author.
He has previously worked for i-D, Arena, The Face, The Observer and The Sunday Times, and has written several books on music, politics, fashion and photography. These include the bestseller Jim Morrison: Dark Star.
Jones published When Ziggy Played Guitar: David Bowie and Four Minutes that Shook the World in 2012 and David Bowie – A Life in 2018, where he charted Bowie’s life through interviews with more than 180 people who had been close to the performer during the 70 years he lived.
