Anja Bakken Riise

Anja Bakken Riise (b 1987, Norway) heads The Future in Our Hands. 

Her background is in development studies, and includes living and studying in South Africa. She issued her first book, Mitt klimaregnskap, in 2021 to put overconsumption on the agenda and give readers an insight into their own climate footprint. Riise has worked as city council secretary for transport and the environment in Oslo, and been leader for the Norwegian Students’ and Academics’ International Assistance Fund.
