My generation: unveiling the best essay (digital)

LitFestBergen staged a global competition in the autumn of 2020 for young people under the age of 30. Challenging them to write an essay entitled My generation, we asked: what characterises your generation? What encourages you and what angers you? Entries came from 550 young people in 90 nations. You can read the contributions from the finalists in the english part of our catalogue. Juror Sandra Lillebø and festival director Teresa Grøtan present them and the winner, and musician Sigrid Moldestad performs
