Per Buvik

Per Buvik (b 1945, Norway) is an author, dr.philos and professor emeritus affiliated with the department of linguistic, literary and aesthetic studies at the University of Bergen.

His published books in Norwegian include Poesiens skandale. Om Baudelaire (1996), Georges Bataille (1998), Dekadanse (2001) and Sjalusi uten grenser. Litterære dybdeboringer fra Evripides til Vigdis Hjorth (2018).

Buvik has also published a number of books in France as well as a great many journal articles, and has been co-editor of Norsk Litteraturvitenskapelig Tidsskrift.
