Ann Margaret Lim

Ann Margaret Lim (b 1976, Jamaica) is a poet and communications practitioner who lives in Red Hills, Jamaica. Her second poetry collection, KINGSTON BUTTERCUP (Peepal Tree Press, 2016) was shortlisted in the poetry category of the 2017 Bocas Prize and her first book, THE FESTIVAL OF WILD ORCHID (Peepal Tree Press, 2012), was nominated for The Guardian First Book Prize in the UK. Following her 2014 Calabash debut, she was mentioned in Ebony Magazine as one of six Caribbean Writers to Discover … Translated and anthologised in Caribbean, Latin American and North American journals, Lim loves all things literature, including participating in festivals like Literature Live Around the World.
