Semi-final in Norwegian poetry slam championship

A semi-final in the Norwegian poetry slam championship is being staged in western Norway for the first time. A slam falls at the intersection between poetry readings, rap and spoken word. During the contest, competitors present their own texts and performance counts as much as content. Host for the evening is Heidi Marie Vestrheim. She will select groups of jurors from among the spectators, and the audience chooses the winner.

The latter will take part in the national final at the Norwegian Festival of Literature in Lillehammer next May. Anyone can take part in the competition, regardless of age or experience.
