New texts on truth: Tishani Doshi

The literary magazine Vinduet and LitFestBergen have invited four authors from four different continents (Tishani Doshi, India; Abubakar Adam Ibrahim, Nigeria; Johannes Anyuru, Sweden; Gabriela Wiener, Peru) to write personal essays on the festival theme ‘Truth’.

“What can we say about these paintings that have survived so long? That they collapse time between the distant past and the present? That the geology of caves with all their striations orchestrate vision?” Indian poet Tishani Doshi writes in an essay about cave paintings, enlightenment, and false memories.
