New texts on truth: Abubakar Adam Ibrahim

The literary magazine Vinduet and LitFestBergen have invited four authors from four different continents (Tishani Doshi, India; Abubakar Adam Ibrahim, Nigeria; Johannes Anyuru, Sweden; Gabriela Wiener, Peru) to write personal essays on the festival theme ‘Truth’.

"If fiction is the crafting of lies, why are writers always being asked about the truth? Why are conjurers of the imaginary being quizzed about the essence of the real, or even the meaning of life?", Abubakar Adam Ibrahim asks in the second essay of the series.
