LitFestBergen in SCAN Magazine!

LitFestBergen has been featured in Scan Magazine!

Scan Magazine is an in-flight magazine that provides inspiration and tips about Scandinavian travel destinations, nature experiences, cultural events, food and drink, and more for travelers. In the January issue, two pages are dedicated to LitFestBergen!

Scan writes about how Bergen International Literary Festival has become a rare space where writers, thinkers and readers converge to explore stories that transcend geographical, linguistic, and cultural boundaries.

In conversation with the magazine, festival director Teresa Grøtan states that the more languages, countries, cultures, and religions that are represented at the festival, the better. “We want people to connect across borders and find common ground. We like to push boundaries as much as possible, perhaps getting rid of them completely. It’s interesting to see how different fields, languages, writers, and backgrounds can come together to offer a new perspective”, Grøtan continues.
