Marjam Idriss

Marjam Idriss (b. 1992, Norway) is a Norwegian author.
She has her bachelor degree in English literature and a master in Medieval literature from Cambridge University.
She made her literary debut with the novel Jannikeevangeliet (The Gospel of Jannike) in 2017. She has also worked in several antique book shops in South-East London.Idriss began translating with Jenny Hval´s
Paradise Rot in 2018 and has since translated the work of Zadie Smith, Amanda Gorman, Ibi Zoboi and Yusef Salaam.
Halvt (Half) is her second novel, published in 2023.
