Anna Kleiva

Anna Kleiva (b. 1989, Norway) is a Norwegian author who grew up in Vinstra and now lives in Oslo.
She debuted in 2011 with the poetry collection Ti liknande versjonar. Since then, she has published two more poetry collections and the genre-crossing work Echo Mountain. Forteljingar frå L.A.
Kleiva received the Bjørnson Stipend in 2015. She has also translated works by Ariana Reines, Asta Olivia Nordenhof, and Eve Babitz.
In 2023, Anna Kleiva and Vilde Tuv created the commissioned piece "Solplomme" (Sun Plums) for Dei nynorske festspela in Ørsta. Tuv composed the music, and Kleiva wrote the poems for the work.
In collaboration with Bendik Vada, Anna Kleiva edited the Palestinian poetry anthology Tunga mi protesterer mot døden (2024).
