Mai Al-Nakib

Mai Al-Nakib (b 1970, Kuwait) is an author and is currently Associate Professor in English and Comparative Literature at Kuwait University. She has a PHD in Literature from Brown University. Her collection of short stories, The Hidden Light of Objects, won the Edinburgh International Book Festival´s First Book Award in 2014. Her latest novel, An Unlasting Home, was published in 2022.
