Lars Petter Hagen

Lars Petter Hagen (b 1975, Norway) is the director of the Bergen International Festival.
He studied composition at the Norwegian College of Music between 1995 and 2000. In addition to a long career as a composer, he has also been the manager of the Happy Days Sound Festival, manager of the Ultima Festival and Artistic Director of Nordic Music Days. Previous to his position as Festival Director, he worked as head of the Norwegian Arts Council, and Director of Development at the Oslo Philharmonic.
