Stig Holmås

Stig Holmås (b 1946, Norway) is an author resident in Bergen.

Educated as a librarian, he made his literary debut in the anthology Åtte fra Bergen in 1969. This was followed by his first poetry collection Vi er mange in 1970. Since then, he has written short stories, novels and non-fiction for young people and adults, plays and much more. Holmås’ latest book, Dagene går fortere nå, appeared in 2021. His books have been translated into several languages.
