Siri Broch Johansen

Siri Broch Johansen (b 1967, Norway) is a Sami author, dramatist, translator, singer and slam poet. She has published several books and produced a number of stage readings. Her latest book is Brev til kommisjonen (2020).

Other works include a biography of Sami activist Elsa Laula Renberg and adaptations of several Leonard Cohen songs in northern Sami. She has received the Sami Council Literature Prize twice, for Saras dagbok and Jeg er en skiløper respectively.

Johansen is a finalist in the Norwegian slam poetry championship, Saturday 12 February.
