Abid Raja

Abid Raja (b 1975, Norway) is a Liberal Party politician, lawyer and author. He represents Akershus county in the Storting (parliament) and was minister of culture and equality in the Solberg government. He won the Bookseller Prize in 2021 for the autobiographical Min skyld. Raja is behind the dialogue meeting and thinktank MinoTenk, and has long been concerned with integration and good conditions for immigrants. He received the Fritt Ord Prize in 2010 for this work. Raja has earlier written the autobiography Talsmann (2008) as well as Dialog. Om vold, undertrykkelse og ekstremisme (2010).
