Ida Hegazi Høyer

Ida Hegazi Høyer (b 1981, Norway) is an author.

She made her literary debut in 2012 with the novel Under verden, and has since published five novels and a short-story collection as well as writing two biographies for children.

Høyer received the Bjørnson scholarship in 2014 for Under verden and Ut,  and the EU’s literature prize in 2015 for Unnskyld. The latter also received a nomination for the Book Blogger Prize, while Fortellingen om øde (2015) was nominated for the NRK P2 listeners’ novel prize.
