System Failure 95. Original Performance. Concert with John Olav Nilsen

John Olav Nilsen, a Bergen musician known for his poetic street pop, has released a number of albums with the bands Nordsjøen and Gjengen.

For LitFestBergen 2026, the acclaimed songwriter and lyricist has been commissioned to compose a piece based on the festival theme of betrayal. He will be accompanied by musicians.

Before the concert, there will be a chat between Nilsen and festival director Teresa Grøtan about betrayal in music and life as well as about the songs he has written for this year’s festival.

The event will be held in Norwegian.
