Life, Literature and Betrayal – Kirkens Bymisjon

What connects women in Norway with minority backgrounds to the festival theme of betrayal? Through its project “Literature for Inclusion”, LitFestBergen will allow people who do not usually have a voice on stage to give the audience an insight into what life is like for them.

LitFestBergen project manager and Spanish translator Signe Prøis and author and Arabic translator Vibeke Koehler have spent the winter running writing courses for women whose mother tongues are Spanish and Arabic. Some of the participants will come to LitFestBergen to present the results of the project they have been working on.
