Siri Dokken

Siri Dokken (b. 1966, Norway) is an award-winning newspaper cartoonist, illustrator, and comic-strip artist based in Oslo.
She attended the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry. In 1994 she began working for the newspaper Dag og Tid, before moving to Dagsavisen in 1995.
She is particularly known for her caricature portraits and satirical drawings, in which she comments on topical social issues. From 2018 to 2021 she was the first person in Norway to hold a professorship in satirical drawing at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
