Priya Bains

Priya Bains (b. 1995, Norway) is a poet and a writer. She trained at the Skrivekunstakademiet writing school in Bergen and at Forfatterskolen writers school in Copenhagen.
In 2021 she published the poetry collection Med restene av mine hender [With the Remains of My Hands], for which she received the Festival’s poets grant during that year’s LitFest; she was also granted the 2022 Olav H. Hauge stipend.
In 2024, she took over as editor of the literary magazine Vinduet.
