Mirigul Mosa

Mirigul Mosa (b.1979, Uyghur) has a master's degree from Xinjiang Medical University in pharmacy with an emphasis on traditional Uyghur medicine.
She has run an Uyghur kindergarten together with her husband in Xinjiang. She came to Norway in 2019 and has completed her studies in child and youth work in Bergen and currently works as a nursery and school assistant. She has translated the book Sapiens from English into Uyghur, published poems and texts in Norwegian in Skoleaviser.no, and is working on translations into Uyghur for the website of the human rights organisation Uyghur Aid. She is currently working on translating poems by imprisoned Uyghur authors into Norwegian for an anthology that is planned to be published in collaboration with Erlend Wichne at Lo Publishers.
