Marte Michelet

Marte Michelet (b. 1975, Norway) is a journalist, critic, and non-fiction author.

She wrote for many years for Dagbladet, one of Norway’s biggest newspapers. She is known for writing the history of the Norwegian resistance movement, first with the book Den største forbrytelsen - ofre og gjerningsmenn i det norske Holocaust [The greatest crime – victims and perpetrators in the Norwegian Holocaust] (Gyldendal, 2014).

Michelet is the daughter of Norwegian novelist and politician Jon Michelet, who is the subject of her latest book Det har skjedd verre ting i utlandet. Scener fra et farskap [Worse Things Have Happened Abroad. Scenes from Fatherhood].
