Lea Ypi

Lea Ypi (b. 1979, Albania) is an academic and author.

She is a professor of political theory at the London School of Economics. She is the author of Global Justice and Avant-Garde Political Agency, The Meaning of Partisanship (with Jonathan White), The Architectonic of Reason, and Free: Coming of Age at the End of History, which has been translated into 35 languages.

Her latest book, Indignity: A Life Reimagined, was published in 2025.
