Kjersti Løken Stavrum
Kjersti Løken Stavrum (b. 1969, Norway) is an editor and media manager.
She has been the manager of the Tinius Foundation and chairperson of Norwegian PEN since 2019. Løken Stavrum was the head of the Norwegian Press Association in 2013–2016. She has served on the boards of the Ethical Journalism Network and Faktisk.no, and as the director of the Kristiansand municipality’s energy utility foundation Cultiva.
Løken Stavrum has been the chairperson of the Freedom of Speech Commission, which presented its report (NOU 2022:9) in August 2022.
In 2022 she also published the book Rabalder: Kontroversielle ytringer gjennom 100 år [Rabble Rousers: 100 Years of Controversial Speech] with Trygve Aas Olsen as co-author.
Her latest book, Uhørt! [Unheard!], was published in 2024.
