Katarina Dorothea Isaksen

Katarina Dorothea Isaksen/Sážžá Kati (b. 1995, Norway) is an artist, researcher and writer from Sážžá/Senja who lives in Alver, outside Bergen.

Isaksen has published artistic research projects in aural and written forms.
In addition to her artistic research, Isaksen has co-curated the art project Jiennagoahti – “listening lodge” – and collaborated with institutions such as the University of Bergen, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, KODE, and Bergen Kunsthall to advocate for Sámi philosophy, history and artistic expressions.
Isaksen has also studied visual arts and joik, a traditional Sámi sound artform, at Nord University.
