Kari Jegerstedt

Kari Jegerstedt (b. 1963, Norway) heads the Centre for Women’s and Gender Research at the University of Bergen, and secured a PhD in Comparative Literature with a thesis on Angela Carter.
Her interests include global and post-colonial literature, feminist theory, psychoanalysis, and posthumanism. In her recent research Jegerstedt has devoted particular attention to contemporary African literature in English by all genders.
