Jørgen Watne Frydnes

Jørgen Watne Frydnes is the Secretary General of Norwegian PEN. Frydnes has over 20 years of experience from organizations focusing on democracy, human rights and humanitarian work. As the head of Utøya AS, he led the reconstruction after the terrorist attack in 2011. He is the head of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, where he has been a member since 2021.
