Hege Cathrine Finholt

Hege Cathrine Finholt (Norway) is a Norwegian philosopher with a PhD from Boston University. During her career, she has worked in higher education in the US, Canada, and Norway. She currently works as an ethicist at the academic institute affiliated with the Norwegian Armed Forces' Faith and Life Stance Corps. Finholt's research and publications deal with topics such as freedom of expression, criticism of religion, gender perspectives in academia, and the ethics of war. She is also an active public debater and has contributed articles to Morgenbladet, Aftenposten, and Vårt Land, among others.
