Christine Hamm

Christine Hamm (Germany) is professor of Nordic literature in the Department of Linguistic, Literary, and Aesthetic Studies at the University of Bergen.

Originally from Germany, she moved to the University of Bergen in 1993, where she completed her MA, later followed by a doctorate in 2002. Her research has a strong focus on women writers, gender theory, working-class literature, and various literary theories. She has published several books and numerous articles and reviews.

She frequently contributes to public lectures and debates at literary institutions, libraries, and in the media.
