Carline Tromp

Carline Tromp (b. 1984, Norway) is a Dutch-Norwegian author, writer and literary critic. She works as an editorial secretary in the debate section of the newspaper Klassekampen and is a regular critic in the newspaper's Bokmagasinet.
Tromp studied literature, media studies and Norse philology, and obtained a master's degree from the University of Oslo in 2012. She has lived in Norway since 2006. Before joining Klassekampen in 2014, she was editor of the student magazine Argument. She has also written for magazines such as Fett and Vinduet.
She is particularly known for her non-fiction books analysing right-wing extremist groups and the reactionary right-wing wave.
Her new book Forført (Seduced) has been announced for release in 2025.
