Bora Chung

Bora Chung (b. 1976, South Korea) is a writer of science fiction and stories in other genres, such as horror and magic realism. She also translates modern literary works from Russian and Polish into Korean. She has published four novels and five books of collected short stories in Korean. Among them, Cursed Bunny, a collection of short stories, was shortlisted for the 2022 International Booker Prize and the 2023 National Book Awards for translated literature; another collection, Your Utopia, was nominated for the Philip K. Dick Award in 2025.
She currently lives in Pohang, South Korea.
