Anne Berit Lillegraven Helland

Anne Berit Lillegraven Helland (b. 1958, Norway) is a trained librarian and has studied social anthropology at the University of Oslo. From 2003 to 2023, she worked as a special librarian in multilingual library services at Bergen Public Library, and for many years as a refuge city coordinator at the library for the municipality of Bergen, which is a member of the ICORN (International Cities of Refuge Network) refuge city network.

Retired in 2023, she is collaborating with Mirigul Mosa and Abduweli Ayup on translating poems by imprisoned Uyghur authors into Norwegian for an anthology that is planned to be published in collaboration with Erlend Wichne at Lo Publishers.
