Wild Nature versus Cabin Building
One of the questions in the fight for nature conservation is how we can strike a balance between nature adventures and the protection of wild, untouched nature. In Naturparadokset. Om naturen vi mister og hvordan vi kan få den tilbake (The nature paradox. About the nature we are losing and how we can get it back), author, dog trainer and journalist Marit Beate Kasin takes the reader on a journey. She draws attention to the gap between intentions and practice and the fact that concern for nature often loses out in the face of other interests, such as commercial development, new roads, cabin building or wind turbines.
Kasin meets Vilde Blomhoff Pedersen, director of the climate festival Varmere Våtere Villere, for a conversation about Norway's loss of nature and the relationship between climate action and nature conservation.
In collaboration with Varmere Våtere Villere.
The conversation is in Norwegian.
