The dramatic history of Jerusalem: Talk by Trond Bakkevig

For many years, theologian Trond Bakkevig has worked to facilitate dialogue between Christian leaders in Israel and Palestine. In his book Jerusalem. Kirkehistorie og politikk (Jerusalem:Church History and Politics), Bakkevig draws on his many years of experience in theological and political work to delve into 2000 years of dramatic urban history. 

In this lecture, Bakkevig will discuss the tension between politics, culture, faith and eternal conflicts in the holy city of Jerusalem.
