Like Another Galaxy

The death of Fidel Castro and Barack Obama's presidency in the USA gave many people hope for a better future in Cuba. However this hope never materialized. In Cuban journalist Abraham Jiménez Enoa's book Å lande i verden (Landing in the World, translated to Norwegian from Spanish by Signe Prøis), he describes what it is like to be forced into exile as a critical journalist in Cuba, and then crashing onto a liberal European consumer society - “like coming from another galaxy”, as Jiménez Enoa describes leaving Cuba. What does he think about the Cuba he had to leave and the future of his homeland? Meet him in conversation with Roxana Sobrino Triana.
